ShouldDoIt app for iPhone and iPad
Developer: Healing Hand Software
First release : 22 May 2017
App size: 16.21 Mb
Youre a very busy person, juggling 100 different things, and somehow you have to turn your goals into steps and actions that you can actually do. You need an audit trail too.
ShouldDoIt lets you create goals and tasks, and then enables you to track how things unfold. You can view your tasks:
* By target date
* By action date.
* By goal
* By who is responsible
* By status
* By age (how long have you been working on them)
* By history (tasks grouped by when they were completed)
When you finally achieve your goals, you archive them, and the app creates a time-line of completed tasks. Press and hold a task to bring up an archive option. Swipe a task from right to left to delete.
In a work environment, that can be handy, because if you anyone ever challenges you, you just look up what happened in your history.
ShouldDoIt does all the things these types of apps usually do.
* You can associate multiple tasks with a goal.
* You can set priorities.
* You can give each tasks a status (to create workflows)
* You can associate tasks with people
* You can add notes to tasks.
* Multiple photos can be associated with tasks (so that you can take screenshots and add them to tasks)
* You can drag and drop tasks.
* You can focus, so you only see tasks with a certain status, target date, owner or goal.
All of the above goes into your history.
You can back all your tasks into text files compressed into a zip. The zip can be stored on iCloud drive, Dropbox or any other storage available on your device. This zip file can also be imported again, and since it only contains text files, you can look at the contents from any text editor.
